Endoscopy Units
Endoscopy Units get a refresh from Brand Works
InHealth, a leading healthcare provider, sought to revitalize its outdated endoscopy units in Oxford. The challenge was clear: the units needed a fresh, modern look that was visually appealing and aligned with the InHealth brand. Brand Works, renowned for its large format print and vehicle wrapping expertise, was tasked with transforming these units into cohesive, branded spaces.
The project presented unique complexities. The three endoscopy units, when combined, formed a single large unit with movable sections. Ensuring that the graphics aligned perfectly when the units were both open and closed was a critical challenge. Moreover, the remote location of the units required meticulous planning and execution.
The Brand Works Solution
Our team began by conducting a thorough site survey to accurately measure the units and assess their condition. This on-site inspection was essential for overcoming the challenges posed by the unit’s unique design.
Working closely with InHealth, both their designer and ours meticulously crafted the artwork to seamlessly integrate with the unit’s movable sections. This required numerous adjustments and refinements to ensure the graphics flowed flawlessly when the units were in different configurations.
“This is by far the hardest set up I’ve ever worked on,” said Laura, our designer. “My main concern was the distance and if I had put in any measurements wrong, especially when it came to the side with the pop outs. In effect, you’re trying to make a 2D graphic work as 3D, it would throw the graphics out and would be a costly mistake to get reprinted and get our guys back down to fix any mistakes. I’m used to being able to just pop outside/round the corner should I need another measurement, but this wasn’t the case due to the units being a good 4-hour drive away.”
Once the artwork was finalised, our production team efficiently printed and produced the high-quality graphics. Our skilled installation team then traveled to Oxford to execute the wrap. Despite the logistical challenges, including power requirements and unit movement, the team completed the project on schedule, delivering exceptional results.
